Observation of lithometeors

(Section 3.3.3)

Lithometeors may occur as particles raised from the ground (for example, drifting or blowing dust or sand, dust storms or sandstorms) or as particles almost suspended in the atmosphere (haze, dust haze or smoke). Whenever possible, records should include information regarding the height to which the meteor extends and any abnormal colouring.
