Cumulus

Cumulus occurs in various sizes and degrees of development, from Cumulus humilis with a vertical extent ranging from some tens to hundreds of metres (tens to hundreds of feet), to Cumulus mediocris, which ranges from a few hundred metres to about 2 km (from a few hundred feet to about 7 000 ft), to Cumulus congestus, which sometimes exceeds 5 km (16 500 ft).
