Stratocumulus

Stratocumulus usually occurs below 2 km (6500 ft). Its thickness ranges between 500 m and 1 000 m (1 650 ft and 3 300 ft). Like Altocumulus, Stratocumulus may take several forms, with the two primary forms described below.
