Stratocumulus radiatus (Sc ra) - CEN 1926

(Section 2.3.7.3.6)

Stratocumulus showing broad, nearly parallel bands that, owing to the effect of perspective, appear to converge towards a point or towards opposite points of the horizon. This variety looks similar to Cumulus arranged in files (“cloud streets”), the difference being that the Cumulus is individual cells arranged in files.

Stratocumulus radiatus occurs in the species stratiformis.
