Stratocumulus translucidus (Sc tr) - CEN 1930
(Section 2.3.7.3.1)A patch, sheet or layer of Stratocumulus that is nowhere very dense. The greater part of the cloud is sufficiently translucent to reveal the position of the Sun or Moon; the cloud may even allow the blue of the sky to be faintly distinguished where its elements join.
