Stratocumulus undulatus (Sc un) - Clayton 1896, CEN 1930

A layer composed of fairly large and often grey elements, arranged in a system of nearly parallel lines. A double system of undulations is sometimes visible in the form of transverse lines that cross the main system. The elements then appear to be arranged in “rank and file”.

Stratocumulus undulatus occurs in the species stratiformis.
